Trust The Process

What is the process? The process is your journey in life. The process is the walk that God has put you on- your specific journey that God has intended only for you. Needless to say, we are all in our very own process right now and it will continue until His return.
There are only so many ways you can go during this walk. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it on my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching FORWARD to what lies ahead (Philippians 3:13). The goal is to always move forward no matter the setbacks, disappointments, starting over or failures; you get to the place where forward is the only direction you head.
It's better to have the mindset that everything you do in life is part of your process. That may look like trusting more, increasing faith/belief or even waiting in patience. Although these things are easier said than done, I can do all things through Him who strengthens and empowers me (Philippians 4:13). God equips you with all these attributes because He knows that these things will be needed more than ever on this walk. Better yet, these things are becoming stronger in you because that is part of God’s plan of building you up. Hardship produces patient endurance; and endurance, proven character; and proven character, hope and confident assurance (Romans 5: 3-4). That alone is part of your process. I bet there is not one successful person out there who didn’t have to go through something to get where they are. Even Jesus went through sufferings and He is the most powerful of them all! Jesus had to go through these things because this was God’s plan for Him- it was ALL part of the process of OUR eternal salvation. If Jesus had to go through a process, surely we do too!
I know it can be hard to believe that God will have you go through certain things. It's hard when you feel overlooked, feel not worthy or qualified, feel like prayers aren’t being answered, when uncertainty/doubt comes or even hopelessness. It most certainly will have you questioning God or even yourself. Asking God, “Where are you?” but in those moments turn to believe that what you are walking in is NOT the end goal. Say, “God I will trust in what you are doing right now, no matter how it looks.” Allow God to show what He is doing in the situation and believe He will bring you through. We don’t sulk in what we see because that allows the feeling of wanting to give up to try to creep in- remember we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
What we go through may be different from others or it may be similar, but it will still be your own personal journey. Your encounters or interactions with God during your journey will be specialized only for you because that is how God will work with you through things. God will take you through things for a reason because He knows what you need and what you can handle.
Even if everything is good right now, that is still a part of your process. I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalms 27:13). I have told you these things so that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy may be made full and complete and overflowing (John 15:11). Happiness, success, prosperity and abundance are all a part of what God wants for you in life. So when blessings flow continuously, that too was all part of the plan and to experience all the fruits of His Spirit. Don’t discredit anything you go through in life for we know that God causes all things to work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose (Romans 8:28).
God knows what we all need individually externally and internally.
I once saw a quote that said, “Even gold needs to be refined.” To me this means that even if the most purest metal has to go through a process, then surely the process God has

us go through will result in our purest form.
So, that the genuineness of your faith, which is much more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested and purified by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ (I Peter 1:7).
Philippians 3:14 I press on toward the goal to win the heavenly prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
I Peter 5:10 And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight and understanding.
