Where is your mental?

Is life overtaking you or are you holding on with every strength possible?

Blow after blow, hit after hit-are you responding with blows and hits back or peace and rest? Do you have the structure and equipment to make it through? “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”(Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬).

Where is your mental?

Are your thoughts scrambled or is it whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things”(Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬).

Where is your mental?

Are you wearing your natural armour of stress, fear, anxiety, doubt, negativity or are you to “take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”(Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭13‬-‭17‬).

Where is your mental?

Are you operating in the works of the flesh? “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God”(Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭19‬-‭21‬). Or are you operating in “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law”(Galatians 5:22-23).

Where is your mental?

During the storm are you looking at the waves or who holds the boat? “And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?”(‭‭Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭37‬-‭40‬).

Where is your mental?

Where is your faith taking you? Are you losing out? “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest” (Joshua‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬).‭ Or is faith taking you higher? “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness” (Isaiah‬ ‭41‬:‭10‬).

Do you have faith that will move your situation? “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”(Matthew‬ ‭17‬:‭20‬) or faith that is shaky? “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed” (James‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬).

Where is your mental?

Do you believe that goodness is coming your way? Will your patience run thin? “I had fainted, Unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD”(Psalm‬ ‭27‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).

Where is your mental?

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
