Wealth

We can say that we don’t have our life together because we don’t have the house, car, relationship, job, etc but if we don’t have Jesus, do all those things really matter?
There are people right now who can afford the wealthiest items in the word but their personal life is in shambles. They have broken homes and even a broken soul. Since I have Jesus, my life is complete - I have it altogether. Ultimately Jesus has it altogether and our life is in His hands . We know everything is going to work out for us because we are walking with Him. He has never failed on a promise and He never will. Yes, time can be delayed but it’s only getting us more and closer to Him. A relationship with Jesus is so precious. It’s more precious than anything, more than the materialistic. We can’t take any of those things with us into eternity. “For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God” (Luke 18:25).
“Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches”(Jeremiah 9:23).
Jesus is the real wealth. There is nothing that can compare. Being connected to God will make you wealthy- spiritually and naturally. He can open doors and opportunities for you to get where you want to be. However, to only gain the material should not be the reason why we live for Christ. It has to be much deeper than that. It’s a daily sacrifice- a want to live for Him. A want to turn your life around in honor of Him. He paid the ultimate sacrifice for us, so why wouldn’t we want to do the same thing? He provides so many benefits for us- salvation, restoration, healing, joy, peace , trust, the list goes on and on. “Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed” (Psalm 103:2-6).
With God, wealth does not always include money. Knowing we have an inheritance waiting on us in heaven makes us wealthy. Just simply knowing we get to dwell with God in the kingdom makes us wealthy! You can feel like the wealthiest person if you know that God is on your side and He’s got your back through thick and thin. Wealthy people can get away with things simply because of who they are. Think of how many connects rich people have that allow them to get things and into places. It is the same with God- because we are His children and we have favor and love. “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together” (Romans 8:16-17). “For whoso findeth me findeth life, And shall obtain favour of the LORD” (Proverbs 8:35). There is no want and need when God is our provider. “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”(Romans 8:32).
Last but not least, If anything makes us wealthy it’s God’s love. Its true wealthiness of a love so rich and full of abundant mercy that exceeds it all. “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
