Thank You

What is it going to take for us to acknowledge God?

Will it have to be His wrath? Anger? Revenge?

For He said in His word- "It is mine to avenge."

Why do we take for granted His glory

His creations, His power, His being

Why do we think all that we have didn't come from above

but we praise aunties,

uncles, mom, dad, ourselves, but can't give God our love

See He created the sun, moon, flowers and trees

the very road you walk on and the air you breathe

the job you have, the car you drive, the food you eat

This life is a choice, its a mindset thing

It's an actual reality, not like the shows you watch on TV

All He wants is your belief in Him

not in the money, fame or fortune

Although those things may not be bad

the good can turn bad if it's misunderstood

or not used for His greater good

Are we too cool to acknowledge Him?

Are we too vain?

yet we want the blessings and not the pain

when its God who hurts when we turn our back

yet He still gives and gives with no lack

Don't live your life just using Him

with no praise, no recognition

Give Him what He deserves

and He'll give you what your missing. They say give people their flowers while they're still here but God you never left me, you were always near and for that alone I will give credit where it's due,

with all my heart, Lord I thank you.
