Giving your life to Christ requires a lifestyle change. For some people it may be drastic, for others it might not be. For me, it did come with its challenges. I've desired things from

my past and I've lost people along the

journey. No one ever said this walk would be easy! You can't do the things you used to do or be the same person you were once before. Trials and tribulations come harder the MORE you grow in God. The more you grow in God, the more power you gain, which is more strength you have to fight the enemy.

You'll realize how much more your faith grows, your prayer life, your studying of the word, your worship, your knowledge and spiritual increase. You'll notice things you didn't before and you’ll see the change in yourself throughout time. None of these traits will just fall into your lap, it requires effort from yourself. Nobody can be helped unless they want to be helped. You have to WANT this walk in order to grow. You have to be determined and made up in your mind that this is the pathway to stay on. The journey may be bumpy but NEVER give up. God can heal, restore and save you along the way. There may be instances where you want to go back to your old life, or even question and doubt yourself, but always remember the true cause. Romans 6:22 -But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

Surrender means to completely give up. Surrender your life to God and watch it turn around. Your past sins will be forgiven and you wont have to stay in that place anymore. If you’re already on the path, stay the course. Recollect your thoughts, change your pace if you have too. Just like the song says, “I can’t give up now. I’ve come too far from where I started from. And I don’t believe He’s brought me this far to leave me!” Trust God on where He can take you. Trust Him to lead you to new opportunities, a new mindset, a new life. Give Him every plan, desire, care, worry and concern. The path you are being lead on may not be the same as others, but it is YOUR testimony. Everyone's walk is different. Everyone's story is different. What's your story going to be?

Give unto God

Give Him your heart

Give Him your all, tear down the walls

Make a precious space for God to move

To do His will, it will flow naturally to please Him

Why live a life so dim?

Let Him show you what it means to live

a life truly worth living

In God's eyes you are a gem

hand crafted, readily made, purified

refined, golden and elect

for you are one of the few select

So why worry about the world's pleasures

when you are the creator of this world's true treasure
