Dear you,
Have you ever felt like a blockage or just a disconnect from everything around you? Even a disconnect from God? It seems like it's hard for you to tap into His presence because your mind is running 1,000 miles a minute. In the back of your mind you know God can move for you, but it seems like you just can’t focus long enough on that simple fact. Even though it feels like you can’t grasp Him, you can be reminded that He is there. Simply because He lives in you. You mask what you’re going through, but God knows and He sees through. It m ay be hard to even talk about it with others simply because they won’t understand or if you acknowledge it, fear may come in and set you back further emotionally or mentally. It's hard to even keep pushing forward, but you know that’s what you have to do. Do it for yourself and the next person you could possibly be helping. Sitting in the simplicity of God’s presence allows you to reset. It’s okay to need that break from your normal routine- sometimes you have to sit with yourself and sit with God. Sit with God until you feel Him or see Him. For me, sometimes it's as simple as listening to a worship song, seeing the wind blow through the trees, hearing the leaves rustling or birds chirping. If I’m being honest, it can be nothing at all. It’s okay to have days like that, but it's up to us if we’re going to stay “disconnected.” I can sit back and look at times where God did move for me and sometimes it stirred my hope or sometimes it can make me go another route and question, “Well, God if you did it for me then, why aren’t you doing this for me now?” At the end of the day, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). God never changes and He never will steer us wrong. Trust that whatever you are going through and the outcome is God’s will for your life. Yes, there are times where I even question what I go through, but I have to remember who God is. God is peace, love, kindness, compassion, understanding and so much more. With Him makes everything alright. Even on the days where I’m not feeling the happiest, God is still sovereign and He is still good.
He gives the strength to carry on-even in the days of dis connect- He is and forever will be connected. He is the vine and we are the branches (John 15:5). He will never leave us nor forsake us (Joshua 1:5). It may be hard right now, but we can get through this. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). Even if the joy doesn’t come when you want, you know it's coming because we are hard pressed on every side, but NOT crushed; perplexed, but NOT in despair; persecuted, but NOT abandoned; struck down, but NOT destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:8-9).
You are loved (Jeremiah 31:3)
You are valuable (Luke 12:24)
You are chosen (John 15:16)
Sincerely, me
