Get Up
I had a dream that I was at a wedding and for some odd reason I kept falling. I wasn't being clumsy, I just kept falling. Some people at the wedding were getting really mad at me and others were checking to see if I was okay. During the wedding, someone made an announcement, pointed at me and said, "I just want to congratulate you because every time you fell down, you got right back up, you didn't stay down." Weird dream, right? Even though dreams don't make sense half the time, sometimes there can be a lesson behind it.
A couple days later after my dream, I was having a conversation with someone and they told me, "You know I never learned how to ride a bike." When I asked why, they simply said, "I was always scared of falling."
I immediately knew that these 2 scenarios were connected- God was simply telling me that in life I may fall but I can get back up again.
Trials may come and you may feel defeated, but it's about what you do after- you bounce back. Don't be afraid of the risk you may have to take in life. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Take the leap of faith-you will never know the outcome until you try. Yes, you may fall but you can get back up stronger. Life isn’t perfect, there will be ups and downs, but with God's grace we can stand.
Don't you know that God is pleased when you overcome and push through trials? I know whenever I get past an obstacle in my life, I am so proud and happy for myself. I feel as if I can accomplish anything and my faith is increased as well! The fact is with God, all things are possible! You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13) Don't dwell or stay stuck in your dilemma. Be careful of letting feelings of hopelessness seek in. Everything in life may not work out like you want, but it doesn't mean it wasn't worth the try. Even if people get mad, embarrassed or disappointed in your mistakes, don't let them stop you from pushing forward. There may even be people praying for your downfall, but don't allow the enemy to knock you off your feet. Stop wanting praise from people, only want praise from God. As long as God is proud of you, who else matters? Pray for God to place people in your life who will support you no matter the circumstance or how many mistakes you make. Pray against thoughts of comparison, society norms, generational curses, fear doubt, anything that will hinder your growth! The enemy doesn't want to see you get back up but the Word says, "No weapon formed against me shall prosper" (Isaiah 54:17) Believe that by faith!
He sees every success and every failure. Besides with God on your side, you're always a winner.
For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity. Proverbs 24:16
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand. Psalms 37:24
