Freedom

YOU ARE FREE.
Don’t slip into the bondage God delivered you from. Come out from the burdens that were holding you hostage. Walk in the mindset that you are free. God died so you could be free- It is for freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm then and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery (Galatians 5:1).
Walk with your head held high is my daily motto. You got to walk, talk, act and think like a child of God. All of His children are free in spirit. We are living and breathing in His Holy Spirit. His goodness and mercy has set us free. When those negative thoughts try to come, cast them down-we are not subject to that. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
Just like any animal that’s been in a cage, once they’re out, they are able to roam free to explore their surroundings. It's the same with us-once we embrace our freedom in God, we can see and feel our new life. A new life with new opportunities to live and serve Him. Free to be who we were created to be, free to live a life full of purpose, peace and love-all through Christ Jesus.
I know it's hard to really feel freedom when you’re going through hardships, but the beautiful thing about it all, is that freedom is always waiting on the other side. But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). To know you have a God who already provides a way out of your dilemma should be enough motivation to keep going. Freedom is already within you, it just takes perseverance to bring it out. Not only so, but we also glory in suffering, because we know suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope (Romans 5:3-4).
When God delivers you from something, you also have to make sure you don’t go back to it, whether its people, places, thoughts, actions, etc. When we walk in the mindset that Jesus has already taken care of our fears or anxious thoughts, it makes it easier to embrace the season you're in- your season of freedom. I remain confident in this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalms 27:13).
Though sometimes it may not look like it- have faith and believe that you are a representation of freedom. You are free in your mind, body and soul- for God intended that for you. You are not limited to what you see going on around you, because God is fully in control- God is the blueprint to your future-you are free from the worry about the unknown. For we live by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Free to live, free to be, free in Christ- now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17).
Galatians 5:13 You my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge in flesh; rather serve one another humbly in love
Romans 6:22- But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life
John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed
