Praise Him in advance because in every dilemma you go through something beautiful is created. “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvellous are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well” (Psalm 139:14).
Praise means to give gratitude and thankfulness. We have a lot to be thankful for, from the moment we wake up to the moment we go to sleep. Everything you have is something to be thankful for - the big and the small. Even if you are not exactly where you want to be we learn to be grateful for that place. “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need”(Philippians 4:11-12).
What about when you’re expecting something? We are still supposed to praise him! You praise in advance to boost your faith and confidence. We don’t know if we are going to get exactly what we wanted, however we can act like it’s coming! This not only shows strength but it confuses the enemy. He thought you was going to be sad & down but you have a provider who will give you everything you need to make it through. A lot of our situations are meant to just test our faith. God wants strong people in order to advance His kingdom. In order to advance, you have to build. In order to build, you have to have the tools . God blesses and gifts you with tools through your trials and tribulations so you can grow. We don’t always understand why things happen the way they do. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD”(Isaiah 55:8). Who knows if we are going through these things so we can help the next person who has to go through it? This itself can be a cause of praise!
“A man's heart deviseth his way: But the LORD directeth his steps” (Proverbs 16:9). We always keep in mind that whatever route God takes us on will be the best for us. However, we are never going to give up hope for a miraculous blessing because we know if He did it before, He can do it again! To stay encouraged, study scripture that applies to your life- I can guarantee it’s a story that can bring your healing. Also, in the meantime we lift up his name for what He has already done and what He is going to do! Praise Him in advance!
1 Chronicles 29:13 “Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.”
Psalm 150:2 “Praise him for his mighty acts: Praise him according to his excellent greatness.”
Psalm 71:14 “But I will hope continually, And will yet praise thee more and more.”
“There are many devices in a man's heart; Nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand” (Proverbs 19:21)
